‘Jimmy Kimmel Live' Finds Crying Cubs Fan, Makes Him Cry Again

He’s not the first Cubs fan to be found crying in his beer, but he’s probably the only one to do it twice on national television.

Ryan Slagle, 35, of Fort Wayne, Ind., was featured on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in front of a raucous group of Cubs fans at Sluggers Sports Bar in Wrigleyville Wednesday night. Kimmel said he tracked Slagle down after seeing him crying in a bar during a local newscast after the Cubs defeated the Dodgers Saturday, securing their spot in the World Series for the first time since 1945.

Kimmel, after asking the emotional Cubs fan to walk him through what he was feeling during the historic moment, told Slagel he would be sending him to Game 3 at Wrigley Field on Friday.

Well, Slagel lost it again.

Tears welled in his eyes as the bar crowd roared its approval.

“That’s a man right there, I don’t care what anybody says,” Kimmel said of Slagels raw display of emotion.

“Thank you Jimmy, I appreciate it so much,” said Slagel, his voice breaking.

If you're watching Friday's game on TV from a barstool or the comfort of your home, keep your eyes peeled for Slagel, he's definitely not camera shy.
